'Make dem return our money o' - Davido reacts to the fire incident at Accountant-General's office

Davido has reacted after the office of the Accountant General of the Federation in Abuja was gutted by fire this morning Wednesday, April 8th.



The fire gutted two key departments including the one that processes consolidated revenue sharing amongst the three tiers of government, before it was successfully contained after firefighters and other first responders including emergency management officers arrived at the scene.


Many on Twitter think the fire incident is suspicious as it happened days after contributions made to the Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) set up by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to raise funds to tackle Coronavirus in Nigeria hit N19.488 billion.

Davido, whose father, Deji Adeleke donated N500m to the Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) to help combat Coronavirus in Nigeria took to his page to react to the fire incident.






Meanwhile, the Federal Fire Service FFS has disclosed that they will probe the fire incident, a procedure that is often conducted in the aftermath of fire incidents in the country.
