Taiye Taiwo was my greatest Nigthmare

Former Sochaux defender Michael Isabey has branded Taiye Taiwo as the player he hated to play against before of his swift moves and strength to collect the ball from attacker and mildfilder. He said the former Nigeria under 21 bronze medalist was a thorn in the flesh.

Michael Isabey who played for sochaux from 1997- 2009 could hide his admiration for the former Nigeria international saying he wished the Nigerian had improved on his ball work and fitness , that he could have easily been one of the best left back in the world , he also noted that maybe Ac Milan was too big a challenge for him at the time he left marseille.

Taiye Taiwo regarded as one of the best left back to ever wear the green and white jersey , he won the silver medal alongside John Mikel Obi in 2005 and spent six years playing for marseille where he won various award before moving to Italy to play for Ac Milan, Queens Park Rangers, Dynamo Kiev and some other clubs in the lower leagues
