7 Footballers that never Scored a Goal in their entire Career

In the game of football it is very rare to see an outfield player that never registered his/her name on the score sheet. It is quite cheeky and I will say a lackluster performance.

Scoring goals in games is obviously every player's dream. It makes the player to be valued, praised and loved by his team and the fans.







Some players have been quite unlucky not to score any goal throughout their professional football career. I guess they might have made every effort to hit the back of the net. But that's life, is not everyone that will score, it's also not everyone that will win.




The players on this list are mainly outfield players meaning that goalkeepers are not included.

As regards to that, here is a list of seven (7) players that never scored a single goal throughout their career spell;

Tony Hibbert









Tony Hibbert was an England football player. He played as a midfielder but later switched to become a defender.















He played for only one club - Everton where he made 256 appearances for the English side. However, the lone career of the Everton legend ended without a goal.





Carlos Kaiser









Kaiser was a Brazillian footballer who played in the forward position.




As a striker he never scored a goal and managed to play for ten (10) clubs in his twenty six years spell as a footballer.
































He is regarded as ' The Farce Footballer'; Carlos Kaiser in his long footballing career never featured in a professional match, he tricked his team with false injuries, bribed fans and media to laud him.

Hugo Villaverde












Hugo Villaverde was an Argentine footballer, he played in the position of defence.


















He featured for the Argentine National team 6 times and also played for Colon de Santa Fe (57 games) and Club Atlético Independiente (380 games) in the club side.


















He made a total appearance of 443 games during his career without celebrating a single goal he scored.


Jorge Titonell







Jorge Titonell is a retired Argentine football defender who spent 16 years with Talleres and Huracán and making a total of 405 appearances with the club sides.




He never scored a goal a single in his professional career.












Alan Brown






The Englishman who played as a center half featured in a total of 158 matches for Huddersfield, Burnley and Notts County and for once never scored a goal.




After he retired as a player he coached Sheffield Wednesday, Burnley and Sunderland all English teams.




























Frank Womack









Frank Womack was an English football player, he played as a defender for quite a few teams.




He has an unbroken record of the most capped league player for Birmingham City playing (491) matches and also holds a record for highest match played by an outfield player without hitting the back of the net.











The teams he played for are; Birmingham City, Worcester City, Torquay United. He also managed Worcester City, Torquay United, Grimsby Town where he won the First Division title with them and reached FA Cup semifinals, with Leicester City he won the Division Two title, Notts County and Oldham Athletic.


Luigi Perversi









Luigi Perversi is an Italian retired football defender. He played for A.C Milan and made over 300 appearances for the football club and was later loaned to Modena.







Luigi Pervesi is also among players that spent their entire professional career without scoring a single goal.
