European Golden Boot Race: Lewandowski moves closer to Immobile as Haaland overtakes Ronaldo

After a long break, German Bundesliga returned from an indefinite break embarked on due to Coronavirus pandemic.

The German league has been suspended since early March because of the global pandemic but the Bundesliga league Authority and Germany government decided to start the league behind close door.





Erling Haaland scored the first goal on Saturday from his side's 4-0 victory and that increased his points from 42 to 44 and that means he has overtaken Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.




On Sunday, Robert Lewandowski was also on target as he scored his 40th goals of the season (in all competitions) and 26 in the league from the spot in the 40th minutes of the game as Bayern Munich defeated Union Berlin 2-0.




The European highest goal scorer of the moment, Ciro Immobile is still on break with Lazio.
