Arsenal put £36m price tag on their star, after he informs club that he wants to leave

It seems like a lot of issues are going on in the Arsenal back room as some concerning issues has been raised as regards to Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta and Matteo Guendouzi.


Guendouzi was in a serious issue with Brighton striker Neal Maupay in the Gunners defeat to Brighton.

The incident led to Matteo Guendouzi grabbing the throat of Maupay at the end of the game. The incident was so embarrassing to the Arsenal board and coach, leading to Mikel Arteta dropping him for the next game against Southampton, which Arsenal eventually won with a 2-0 scoreline.


After the incident, Arsenal held talks with Matteo Guendouzi concerning his disciplinary issues. The board criticised his action, and seems to have taken a drastic decision to punish the young Frenchman, and he now wants to leave.

According to reports released by METRO, the Arsenal star has informed the Gunners’ board that he wants to leave the club this summer.

Arsenal might be willing to sell him, since he is no longer willing to reman at the North London Club. Reports has it that, Arsenal value him at £36m and would listen to offers from teams willing to match their valuation.






The 21-year-old French midfielder has only started eight games under Mikel Arteta since the Spaniard took over from Unai Emery in December last year.
