EPL: Cazorla responds to Arteta’s offer over return to Arsenal

Santi Cazorla, Former Arsenal midfielder has reacted to Manager Mikel Arteta’s appeal for him to come back to Emirates.

Cazorla, who presently plays for Villarreal, had been given the opportunity to work as a trainer in the North London club by Arteta this summer after he resigns from from football.

The 35-year-old and Arteta were former teammates at Arsenal.

Cazorla’s present contract with Villarreal will terminate at the verge of the season.


Talking on the matter, Cazorla said he has made a determination on his future but would not disclose anything yet, adding that he may hope to proceed fiddling for at more season.

I have already made my conclusion, but right now is not the period to let out anything,” Cazorla told Cadena SER.

“I have an impression of what I want, but when the time comes, I will uncover what I have agreed on.

“Now is not the time because we have to be concentrated on competing.

The season halt has enabled me think, listen to my body, but I do not need to pre-empt you or to infer extremely .

Cazorla added: “Ican say [if I will proceed with my playing job elsewhere], I have a notion, but when the moment comes I will convey it and give the justifications.

I want to continue related to football. I could be a trainer, but I see myself extra in a sporting manager role.”
