Fans react to Cristiano Ronaldo's statement after breaking new record in Juventus victory over Lecce

Juventus defeated relegation threatening side Lecce 4-0 on Friday night to strengthen their lead on top of the Italian serie A table.






Lecce started brightly before being reduced to ten men, after Fabio Lucioni was shown a straight red card for unsportsmanlike behavior.







Paulo Dybala opened the scoring in the 53 minutes before Cristiano Ronaldo doubled it from a penalty kick.

Gonzalo Higuain and Matthijs de Ligt scored the third and fourth goals to give Mauricio Sarri team three points.






With Cristiano Ronaldo's lone goal against Lecce, the Portugal captain has now scored 20 goals against 21 teams he has faced in the Italian serie A.

The leader have now extended their lead over second place Lazio to seven points.
