The Hushpuppi saga is here again, and this time, more information has been brought to light on the dealings of Hushpuppi and his gang.

The Dubai Police tagged the arrest, ‘Operation dubbed Fox Hunt 2’. The Dubai Police Commander, Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, congratulated the police for their achievement in tracking down the internet fraudsters. Hushpuppi and his gang where tracked due to their lifestyle and high spending in Dubai.

“The arrest of Hushpuppi, Woodberry and 10 gang members involved in money laundry and cyber fraud activities, is another achievement added to the proud record of Dubai police in ensuring the emirate’s security and safety.” Abdullah Khalifa said.

1. Fraud committed amount to 1.6 billion dirhams ($435,611,200)

2. Dubai police seized cash worth 150 million dirhams ($40,838,550) during raid

3. 21 laptops

4. 47 smartphones

5. 15 flash drive

6. 5 hard disks

7. 1,926,400 victims defrauded

8. 13 exotic cars worth 25 million dirhams ($6,806,425) were also confiscated.

Hushpuppi and others were arrested on multiple fraud charges committed in different parts of the world".

According to reports, Hushpuppi and his team defrauded 1.9 million victims of $435.6 million.

21 laptops, 47 mobile phones, 15 flash drives, 5 hard drives (Containing 119580 files) and 13 cars where recovered from the fraudsters. They faked websites to redirect peoples payment, also they specialized in hacking corporate accounts of companies and they have been monitored for 4 months, including all their social media activities. They tracked them to 6 different locations all in one night at the same time.
