Reactions as Kemi Olunloyo claims Ex-Super Eagles player gave her 500k after her release from Prison

Nigerian Social Media Investigative Journalist and Blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has revealed how ex-super eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike and car mogul, IVD helped her with 500k each when she got out from prison.

Emenike was part of the Super Eagles team to win its third AFCON trophy. He won the Pepsi tournament Highest goal scorer for his 4 goals which proved crucial to Nigeria's progress through the tournament, most notably, his 30-yard free kick goal against favourites, Ivory Coast. He also earned a place in the 2013 AFCON Team of the Tournament.


Emenike went on to be capped 37 times between 2011 and 2015, scoring 9 times. He retired in October.
Recall that in March 2017, Kemi was arrested in Lagos and arraigned in a Federal High Court in Rivers State for alleged cybercrime based on a news item she published online believed to have defamed a Port Harcourt-based cleric, Pastor David Ibiyeomie.



She spent more than 90 days behind bars after she was always rearrested even when granted bail. She finally gained her freedom in January 2018 following the intervention of CharlyBoy.
So quoting a tweet by user, Naraozim who talked about how she was gifted 500k by someone she met in barely 2 hours, Kemi has shared her own version of story.

"Never met car mogul IVD and Footballer Emenike and both sent me N500K each overnight to support my work and health when I was released from prison. I like men that are generous when you lose your livelihood and don't scream about it," Kemi Tweeted.
