See what this woman did to an old woman until she gave up

It all happened Monday, 8th of May, in Ipoti Ekiti, when a Woman named Openiyeni died a mysterious and painful death from the hand of her husband's niece.

This woman was living with her husband around Adan compound and Aaro-Owa in Ipoti. In same house is Omolayo Ajewole, that some called Omolayo jawonjawon, for she always chew her tongue.

Openiyeni's husband was out to farm,when Omolayo jawonjawon went to the market, bought powdered pepper and came back home. Openiyeni couldn't hear or see very well. She had been faced with this hearing problem right from her younger days. As she got older,the problem became more complicated.


When asked, Omolayo jawonjawon made it known to all present that having bought the pepper,she inserted it into the private part of the woman and her two eyes. As the old and poor woman cried for help, Omolayo said she began to drag her until she gave up the ghost.

Neighbors who were present after the demise of the woman sorrowfully lamented that both the private part of the woman and her two eyes were swollen.

However, the children of Omolayo said, their mother could not do that. They then made known that it was a spiritual misrepresentation. I.e. someone had diabolically put on the face of their mother. But as a testimony against their claim, eyewitnesses said their mother never denied the doing it.

Painfully, Olopeniyeni gave birth to three but two had died. The death of the second, just few months ago was unknown to this poor late woman because of her health's condition

The community, Ipoti Ekiti, out of their sorrowfulness, paraded this Omolayo, by wailing, shouting and singing shameful songs on her while she beats the drum.

Olopeniyeni was buried not longer after her death yesterday.
