See What Van Dijk Said When Asked If He Was Having Doubts Over Chelsea Win

Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Manchester City last night helped sealed the Premier League title to Liverpool, with Christian Pulisic putting on another tremendous display at Stamford Bridge.


The USA man now has seven goals in his first Premier League season, and it seems that Chelsea has founded their replacement of Eden Hazard.



However, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has admitted that after De Bruyne's stunning free-kick goal, he was feeling worried Man City would comeback against Chelsea and deny Liverpool the title.

Van Dijk said that he didn't believe Chelsea would wrapped up their title win on Thursday, when De Bruyne scored an incredible free-kick - before Willian secured the win with a penalty.



Speaking to BT Sport, when asked if he had doubts over Chelsea win, Van Dijk said;




"Firstly, to be part of this team and part of this journey is unbelievable, what a season, I'm very proud to call myself a Premier League winner.

"Of course, I watched the Chelsea game, I don't usually watch games but the match felt like it was taking ages and never ended. When De Bruyne scored the free-kick, I was having some doubts, and I haven't been nervous in a while.

"But after that, it was just celebration time, and we're proud of each other, we have special feeling".
