Strike back: D'Banj Demands 100 Million Naira From Sexual Assualt Accuser.

Nigerian celebrity, Oladapo Oyebanjo also known as D'banj has requested that Miss Seyitan Babatayo pay him the sum of N100 million naira for false accusations. Miss Seyitan was the woman who on 30th December accused the music star of sexual assault in a hotel room.

According to The Punch, the artist called her a 'Gold digger' and requested Miss Seyitan Babatayo pay the sum within 48 hours or face legal consequences, with the prelitigation petition signed by his attorney, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN).

The petition dated 15th June 2020 was sent to her Lawyer, Ojoge, Omileye, and Partners.

The letter requested she apologies for trying to tarnish his image and that the accusation was an insult to his wife. He demanded that the apology letter be published in at least 4 different national dailies.


It says, “We have been instructed to demand and we so hereby demand from you the following: That your client makes an outright apology and a total retraction of each and every false allegation made against and concerning our client.

This letter is a strike back to the letter of apology requested by Seyitan Babatayo through her lawyer a few weeks ago. Her letter also read that she was going to settle the issue legally because she is hurt and want to get her healing.
