"Abacha Must Be Proud Wherever He Is", Man Reacted To Claims Lazio Was Scammed By Hushpuppi

It is no longer news, and you have also heard by now, the claims going around on social media that Hushpuppi was responsible for the scam in which Lazio football club lost a huge sum of two million Dollars. Can you imagine that?




One of the people reacting to this news was quick to point out the fact that Abacha will be proud of Hushpuppi. This words first made no sense to me, until of course, I gave it a deeper thought.






Why Abacha?

What was the impact of Abacha in his time?

Is Abacha the man that set the pace for scam business for Nigerians?





There are many of these questions that rushed through my mind.

Truly, when you give it a closer look, Abacha was described as a very corrupt person. He is one of the reasons Nigeria is where she is today. And in his bid to steal all the funds available in Nigeria then, he used many international agencies and banks to funnel the money out.

Nigeria is still recovering some of the Abacha's loot even till now. How amazing that really is. After so many years of stealing and looting what belongs to everybody, Nigeria still discovered millions hidden in various banks around the world. Some of the funds are returned while the bigger parts are lost forever.

In what way can we therefore say Abacha will be proud of Hushpuppi? It is in the fact that, technically, he might be said to be the hero who can help Nigeria bring back all the Nigerian money lost to the whites around the globe. All Abacha's money of course.
