Arsenal: Jamie Carragher And Pep Guardiola shower Praises On Arsenal Coach After FA Cup Win

Liverpool Legend Jamie Carragher has showered praises on Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta after he led the line to beat Machester City In their FA cup semi final showdown. Arsenal continued their big-match wine as they crused pass Pep Guardiola's side with two goals to nothing.




Pierre Aubameyang's double was enough to send the Gunners to their 20th FA cup final. The first goal was set up by Nicolas Pepe while the second goal was beautifully supplied by Tieney. The win now means that the North London side has just beat Machester City since 2017.






The evolutionised win attracted plenty praises from Liverpool Legend Jamie Carragher after the match. The fomer Liverpool defender tweetted to share his thought.

"Arteta joined Arsenal with everyone expecting Pep style football every week".

"Arsenal haven’t got the players (yet) for that, so he’s changed the shape and adapted his idea to beat the best two teams in the country in four days."That’s great management."

The threnody for the Gunners didn't end in Caragher's mounth. Machester City manager also affirmed the cohesion and team spirit around the squad. Arsenal who had just recently beaten Liverpool who were just crowned the Premier champion surprised Guardiola. The City manager applauded the Newly qualified FA cup finalist after the match.

"They have something special already, they have a team spirit Mikel has created," he said.

"I see from the side how they celebrate goals, how they fight for every ball. They have begun to create something special for the club. We approach Arsenal like we do the other ones.

"Arsenal were one of the elite clubs in English football for the last 20, 30 years. I am pretty sure the right person to take them back to the position they were.

The magager further asserted that the young manger needs the total assurance and support of the club if they hope for rejuvenation.

"When the club supports him there is no better person to do the job than Mikel.

"I have the feeling he is creating something unique. If he can be supported by the club with investment, get the players they need, they can be contenders for the next years."

It was obvious in the match that Arsenal were tactical and disciplined and this may have been the reason behind the huge win.
