Scottish Premier League giants Rangers Football Club rounded off their pre-season with victory in what was a very useful and different test against Championship opponents, Coventry City at Ibrox on Saturday evening.


Super Eagles midfielder Joseph Ayodele Aribo made it two goals in two games as Liverpool Legend Steven Gerrard troops showed positive signs ahead of the fast approaching season.

It was a deserved lead for Gers given their dominance, and they made it 2-0 soon after, Aribo was fouled out on the right wing, with James Tavernier stepping up to take the free-kick.




His delivery was outstanding, and straight onto the head of Connor Goldson to bullet a header beyond Wilson and into the back of the net.




Joseph Ayodele Aribo was on parade for 82 minutes as newly signed compatriot Leon Aderemi Balogun was not listed in the squad for the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the fans are happy with the form of the Super Eagles Number 10 ahead of the 2020/2021 season which will start on August 1 and want the club to give the former Charlton Athletic F.C star another contract because of the ever scouting big European teams.
