Here is Jude and Ifeoma Ozougwu, the Couple that Drilled Nail into the Head of 10 years old Nneoma

Wonders they say never cease to happen. Slavery was abolished many years ago but its seems to be transformed into another modernized form these days.

This slavery happens more now on domestic staff as the guidance of a child now see them as nothing but slaves that can be used anyhow and dispatched.

That's what prompted this couple Mr Jude and Mrs Ifeoma Ozougwu to have drilled nail into the head of this little 10 years old girl Miss Nneoma Nnadi.



The woman and her husband Mr Ozougwu resides at Thinkers Corner, Enugu and hail from Aku in Igbo-Etiti Local government area inflicted various degrees of injuries to the child which varied from drilling of nail into her head, using of hot iron on her which caused many damages to her skin etc, this prompted their arrest by the Enugu state Police Command and rescue of the child.

The child is now receiving treatment at ESUT Teaching Hospital Parklane Enugu.



Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu state however gave scholarship to the young Miss Nnadi till University level as a way of making sure she doesn't go back to such hard treatment again.

And in addition paying for her medical care fees making sure she receives the best medical care.



However, the culprits were arraigned in the court yesterday and remanded at the Nsukka Prison August when the court will hear their bail application.



Parents, try to verify properly whom you gave your child to as domestic staff to help you train. Better still, born as you can train. Train your child yourself in your home and avoid exposing children to unnecessary hardship as very young age.
