Lai Mohammed the minister of information and culture in nigeria has asked the Nigerian broadcasting commission to take the big brother naija reality tv show off the air. He stated that there could be a possible spread of the covid-19 amongst the housemates of the show. He made the statement giving clear directives to the Nigerian broadcasting commission to take the big brother naija show off air.

It should also be noted that the big brother naija reality tv show is one of the biggest show in africa. Prior to airing this years edition the housemates were properly quarantined, isolated and tested multiple times before the show began
