Prophetess Esther Ajayi and pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye are among the most prominent religious women of our days. Both of them are also wives of world renowned men of God.



Pastor Mrs Adeboye is the one and only wife of the pastor and GO of one of the most widely spread Pente
costal churches in the world.





The two have been married for 53 glorious years.

Mrs Adeboye was named Foluke Adenike Adeyokunnu at birth on Tuesday 13 July 1948 by her father, Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu, who was a prince of the royal family of Owa Obokun Oji in Ijeshaland, Osun State.


According to Mrs Adeboye's website, she attended Methodist church for many years before she became Mummy G.O or Mother-in-Israel as she is fondly called.

Pastor Adeboye and Folu began their marital life on September 8, 1967 with their court wedding and church wedding which followed on 16 December 1967.

Her website revealed that she is blessed with rare gifts of administration, planning, hospitality, counseling, mentoring, ministering comfort, care, and encouragement to many, bringing hope, love and succor to the hopeless.

She is also endowed with immense initiative and great capacity for hard work.

Mrs Adeboye is a missionary and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is a very powerful intercessor, Bible Teacher & role model for lots of women and a pioneer of multiple projects, ministries and missions to the glory of God.

Despite all these, Folu Adeboye is a dutiful wife, a devoted mother and grandmother, a tireless evangelist, a hospitable and seasoned teacher with passion for excellence at all levels of education.

Mama is blessed with three sons and a daughter who are all Pastors and happily married.




Rev. Abimbola Esther Ajayi is a clergy of Cherubim and Seraphim Church. She also and philanthropist and the founder of the Love of Christ Generation Church, C & S (Iya Adura), London.

She is the founder of Esther Abimbola foundation. The foundation which she has used to bless many who are in need.

Mother Esther was born on April 8 . She opined that it was her great-grandfather that brought the Methodist church to Agboyi town in Lagos.

Prophetess Esther can be described as a woman endowed the gift of miracles. She was once reported to have prayed for a pregnant woman who was long overdue for delivery and she was delivered of a baby.

She grew up to become a successful entrepreneur.

She got married in 1984 to Prophet Ademuyiwa Ajayi and the union is blessed with children.

Iya Adura as she fondly called, has been able to bringing leaders of the two foremost white garment churches in Nigeria - Cherubim and Seraphim (C & S) and the Celestial Church of Christ - together.

This she has done through the Comforter Crusade. The annual event brings these leaders together for spiritual bonding exercise.

Pastor, Mrs Folu Adeboye met Rev. Mother Esther met during the last RCCG Holy Ghost Congress at the Redemption Camp.
