Funny reactions on Twitter over ASUU's plan to end strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is a Nigerian union of university academic staff, founded in 1978.


The ASUU was formed as a successor to the Nigerian Association of University Teachers formed in 1965 and covering academic staff in all of the Federal and State Universities in the country.

ASUU on their ongoing battle with the federal government demanding the federal government to fulfill their promises which the situation thickens as the FG failed but negotiations are still ongoing.


An online news portal Myschoolnews_ng on their Twitter handle tweeted that "ASUU calls off strike, directs lecturers to resume duties."

The above statement makes the ASUU to come out and falsified that statement.

Many Nigerians were busy tweeting about schools resumption which most of the tweets shows how unready the students are, hoping the strike to last till next year.
