Man United awarded match-winning penalty after full-time vs Brighton to end crazy match

Manchester United were awarded a match-winning penalty against Brighton... AFTER referee Chris Kavanagh had blown the final whistle.

VAR intervened after Neal Maupay handled the ball inside the area, leading to Bruno Fernandes taking and scoring a dramatic spot-kick.

With the final kick of the game, Man United secured a 3-2 victory. It was absolutely remarkable.

Just moments before the final whistle, Brighton thought they had secured a point, scoring a 95th-minute equaliser through Solly March.

It was the least the hosts deserved, but the point was snatched away from them in the 100th minute when Maupay gave away a penalty.
