I have the Quran and i don't believe in it - Reno Omokri respond to a Twitter User

Nigerian lawyer and author Reno Omokri has responded to a user who asked him to take a video of himself reciting Suratul Ikhlas.


Reno Omokri said he had read two religious books, the Quran and the Bible.

Reno stated that during his study he realized that the Bible is the truth and the best way is the Way of Christ.

Mr Reno made the announcement on his Twitter account.

I have read the Quran, but I don’t believe in it. And why do you think I care a hoot if you believe or don’t believe me? As far as I am concerned, the ONLY way to God is through Christ. No other way. No other Book. No apologies!

Mr Omokri said the only viable option was the path of Christ which he was currently following.

The author adds that "there is no way after Christ, there is no book after the Bible and no apology".

The controversy erupted after Reno Omokri responded that; "He read the Quran and the Bible, and did not see in the Quran the right path to paradise. The right path is the path of Christ.
