"I Can Never Forget November 2005"-Ebuka Says as he recounts ordeals in the hands of SARS

Big Brother Naija Reality TV show host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu has taken to Social Media to disclose a particular month he can never forget in a hurry in his entire life. According to him, it was the month of November 2005.




Ebuka made this known on his Twitter page while reacting to the recent call for the disbandment of the special police unit SARS, which initiated the #EndSars campaign. The #EndSars campaign which has been trending massively worldwide for some days now is a call for the Federal Government to abolish the Special Anti Robbery Squad, a section of the Nigerian police following their nefarious acts of extrajudicial killings, harassment, and violation of ones right.







The renowned lawyer and proud father of 2 while lending his voice to support the #Endsars campaign disclosed what happened to him in November 2005 that made it an unforgettable moment in his life. According to him, it was in that month that a SARS officer opened fire on him but luckily for him he survived and was alive to tell the story.

Narrating how it happened, Ebuka said it was in November 2005, as he was driving in Abuja with his friends @sommbonu and @IAMOfem. Suddenly, they were being chased by plainclothes SARS officers with fully loaded guns, chased and being shot at for being “suspected armed robbers”. According to Ebuka, his friend, Ofem still has the bullet scars on his shoulder.











The tweet, however, garnered several reactions from Nigerians who shower praises to God for saving and keeping him alive from the hands of those SARS officers while praying he remains alive for the sake of his Wife, Children, family, and the entire world.
