Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe who represents Abia South Senatorial district made the above statement in viral video where he was seen challenging some aspects of the 2021 budget at the National Assembly.

Abaribe in the video was seen questioning why the State House would need to spend bigger than they did last year in buying kitchen equipment and materials as he asked if they threw away that of last year.

The full statement goes thus:


"In the State House Budget it says here, N123 million to buy catering equipment and materials.

"I don't know, did they throw away the one they did last year? They spent N94 million last year to buy catering equipment, they are coming back again to buy another catering equipment. What are they doing in that State House that they are always buying catering equipment?"
