Federal Polytechnic of Ede, has allegedly suspended the rector of the Institution for fixing a King Sized bed in his office

The Academic Board Of the Federal Polytechnic of Ede, Osun State Poly has allegedly suspended the rector of the Institution for fixing a King Sized bed in his office.

This has caused upheaval on social media as usual as many have reacted to the news wondering why would the Rector put a King-Sized bed in his office to sleep.


The chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUUP), Adekunle Masopa said to correspondent that after the meeting, the board based its decision on 21 grounds. The Academic Staff President said they tried to intervene but the Academic Board said they have already taken a decision and that decision to suspend the Rector, John Adekolawole would stand.


There are lots of reasons why they decided to suspend the Rector which includes; Flagrant dereliction of duty by absconding from office for about a month, then the fixing of a King-Size bed which has made it possible for him to sleep at work.
