“I almost gave up on music”—Vee Confess As Her Latest Single Becomes Top-Charting Song In Nigeria

Vee Iyelana, the fourth runner-up in the fifth edition of Big Brother Naija, has confessed that, until now, she had almost given on her musical career(which is likely owed to the poor reach her music had before she entered Big Brother's house).



The reality star's confession is coming at the back of her currently surging single, Show, which was released today.






Recall that Vee had announced on Wednesday that the track would be released on Friday, therefore rousing the excitement of both her fans and her fellow reality stars. It was expected that her song would be heavily welcomed, but she didn't expect the kind of degree for which it would be held.


Show, which was released by midnight, has peaked on the top-charting songs streamed in Nigeria, pushing behind Omah Lay's Godly, Kizz Daniels' and Davido's projects to second, third and fourth spots, respectively.




Not only that, Vee and her song are currently among the top Twitter trends both Nigeria and South Africa.







This love from her fans left her in tears, so much so that she feels her musical career has been revived and hence, felt the need to open up that she had almost given up on music before now. She posted this on her Instagram Story.
