Hours After Mr Macaroni Was Scammed By An Online Fraudster, Check Out What He Said

Debo Adebayo, Popularly known as Mr Macaroni, is a 28years old Nigerian Actor, Comedian, Media influencer, Activist and Brands Ambassador.

Debo is also known for his generosity as he gives alms to people in need anytime he has the opportunity to.


However, sometimes good deeds comes with a high price.

The young comedian has however been scammed by an online fraudster on the 3rd February, 2021.

The man on Twitter, @Muhbad11, had pleaded on a page for financial support to buy a washing machine to support his business.

Debo had offered to help as he sent the young man huge amount of money, 100,000 naira to get the desired electronic, which was unknown to him that the young man was a scammer.

However, hours later, the young man also posted again on another page that he needed financial support for the same reason stated previously above.

Mr Macaroni however reacted by retweeting and saying:

"But I just sent you 100k for the same washing machine 4 hours ago...

Oya u don scam me. I agree... but no use my picture scam others"

Many people have reacted as they were unhappy that a fraudster had duped their favourite celebrity.

Also, some felt it was bad enough for fradusters to block a means of help for others. Some also cautioned the young celebrity to always thoroughly check well before sending any money or other materials to people on social media.
