A 22-year-old British college girl, with only 47 inches tall, is often misunderstood as a child

Danielle is a 22-year-old British college girl.

She has long curly hair. Her eyes are not big but deep. The two tiger teeth in her mouth make her talk or laugh like a child.

Like most of her peers, Danielle also likes make-up and wants to go out and have fun.

However, in most people's eyes, these are just normal things that can no longer be normal. It's not so easy for Danielle to do, which also makes her feel very sad.

“Every time I go out, I always get stared at."

Currently, Danielle is studying psychology at a university in Glasgow, Scotland. Danielle has a good face. If you only look at her face, you will think she is a beautiful girl, and you will hardly notice anything unusual.

However, if you see Danielle's whole body, you can know why Danielle is so sad.

The 22-year-old British female college student is only 47 inches tall. She is often misunderstood as a child. It's also very troublesome to take the bus

Danielle has been suffering from achondroplasia since she was little. Achondroplasia is a kind of dwarfism. People with this disease will not develop cartilage into bone, and their height is much shorter than people of the same age.

As the only one in the family with the disease, Danielle's upper body is normally developed, but her limbs are relatively short.

Due to her short stature, Danielle is always inconvenient in life: she is often questioned when taking the bus; sometimes she has to walk in front of the automatic door many times or wait for others to pass because the sensor is too high to sense her presence; when going to the supermarket, she is too short to reach and buy what she wants

All of this is just part of what happened to Danielle.

What bothers Danielle most is that every time she goes out, she is often mistaken by others as a child, and she has to endure other people's different eyes and rude behaviors.

Despite Danielle's efforts to try to accept herself, adapt to everything around her. However, the people in life and the things they do always give Danielle a heartless blow.

Of course, Danielle also knows that it's a very challenging thing to change people, and she's always trying to look on the positive side. Now, she only hopes that with her efforts, people will pay more attention and respect to patients with achondroplasia.
