Report: Arsenal youngster makes big decision over international future, rejects England for Nigeria

Arsenal utility player Bukayo Saka has reportedly snubbed the advances of England in order to play for Nigeria.

Saka will play for Nigeria at international level instead of England.

The 18-year-old has played sixteen times for the Gunners this term.

Whilst his club future is tied to West Ham for the foreseeable future, the topic of Saka's international future has been the subject of confusion.

Saka has played 13 times for the England youth teams, but is also eligible to play for two other countries.

It has long been assumed that, because he's played for England at youth level, he'd also be playing for the Three Lions as a senior too.

Insiders have claimed that he is set to turn his back on England in order to play for Nigeria.

That doesn't completely rule Saka out of contention for England in the future, but the suggestion is that he is now leaning towards committing his international future to Nigeria for good - which will be a blow to Gareth Southgate and the England setup.
