Salah breaks Suarez record as Liverpool break Man City and Premier league record

The Reds got a hard fought 3-2 win against West Ham United on Monday night with goals from Gini Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane enough to give the Reds the desired result.

Mohamed Salah second half goal sees him break Luis Suarez goal record for Liverpool. His goal has seen him equal and overtake Luis Suarez 69 goals for Liverpool and could even add more in games to come as he already did with Fernando Torres (65 goals).

Liverpool opened the scoring when Gini Wijnaldum met a well delivered Alexander Arnold cross but West Ham equalised three minutes later.

West Ham took a 2-1 lead after just ten minutes into the second half but Mohamed Salah was in hand to level the scoreline for the Premier league leaders.

Sadio Mane scored the winner with just nine minutes left to play. Alexander Arnold delivering another sweet cross to get his 12th assists of the season. The Senegalese added another but was ruled out for offside.

The win takes Liverpool 22 points clear of Manchester City who sit quite comfortably in second.
