Prior to the development and widespread of the deadly virus in the country, so many individuals have come out to donate a huge sum of money to help curb the spread of the virus and also help equip our health care system for effective operation. The question now is will the federal government appropriately use these funds donated by these people for the fight against coronavirus? Nigerian government as we all know is full of corrupt leaders who only care about their well being and not of the citizens.


Lagos state is the first to contract this deadly virus from an Italian man who came to Ogun state for business, since then the virus has continued to spread with quite a good number of prominent persons contracting the virus. Currently, Nigeria has about 81 cases with 3 discharged and 1 recorded death.

The Federal government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has been doing their best to help fight this deadly disease but their effort will be wasted if these funds are not put to use. Thank God nobody can fly out of the country, so they will have no other choice but to equip our medical and health centers.

In line with the fight against this virus, Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwolu has been of great hard work and effort lately, first of all, he ordered the closure of all major markets, schools and churches were also closed down, all bars, restaurants, and event centers were also shutdown. Then he ordered for food items to be distributed to individuals to enable them to stay at home and also made available sanitizers, ventilating equipment to help fumigate the entire street of Lagos for safety.
