Official: Nasty C Has Broken Another Record

Mzansi’s coolest kid Nasty C, David Junior Ngcobo has joined Black Coffee and Trevor Noah as best South African entertainers that took over international entertainment industry based in USA.

The 23 year old is now signed to Def Jam Recordings. The deal saw music video of Nasty C’s single ‘They Go’ premiering on Apple Music's Beats 1 and TV channel Trace Urban South Africa. In announcing Nasty C’s signing, the Def Jam Recordings interim chairman / CEO Jeff Harleston revealed that the international record label has bigger plans for the South African talented rapper.


“Nasty C is a unique and forward-thinking artist who is at the forefront of a new generation of rappers emerging from Africa. Def Jam is a globally recognized brand synonymous with excellence in hip-hop, and we are excited to welcome Nasty C — an international star with real vision and talent — into the family.”

According to Billboard report, through an exclusive joint venture with Universal Music Africa and Def Jam Recordings, the multi-award winning rapper has now international A-List artists like Justin Bieber, Big Sean, Kanye West, Nas, Fabolous, Desiigner and Jhené Aiko just to mention the few.
