Dimitar Berbatov: I Respect Van Dijk, But Calling Him The Best I Don't Think So.

The former Man United striker who also played on the premier league never believe that Vigil Van Dijk is the best defensive player as people are talking, as he expressed his on point of view.

Dimitar Berbatov : " Actually I think Michael Ballack is right about Vigil Van Dijk. But people didn't understand what kind of Strikers He was talking about. He talked about Strikers that will bully a Defender all match long. Van Dijk wouldn't seriously survive in facing Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli and Diago Costa . He also forgot to mention my Name.

We had better defenders back then like Vidic etc. But when they faced these bully Strikers you would see that times are hard. I haven't seen Van Dijk defending one on ones. He always ask for help, but the credit doesn't go to the partnering Defender who always help him and do a dirty job to clear the lines.

People talk about him facing Messi and Ronaldo, those two are smart players not bullies. Messi score twice with ease at camp nou while Van Dijk was there. Ronaldo was playing as winger in Uefa champions league final so they never real faced each other, which i believe Ronaldo would always come up top. I respect Van Dijk, but calling him the best i don't think so"
