Justin Kluivert could be the best signing Arsenal have made since Wenger left

When Arsenal signed Nicolas Pepe, many supporters thought he would propel the club into champions league qualification. With a Front line of Pierre-Emmerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, the club seemed unstoppable. On paper, they looked very balanced. But football isn't played on paper and Pepe crumbled under the enormous pressure that came along with his price tag.





With Skysports reporting that AS Roma winger, Justin Kluivert might be on his way to the London club, the hype begins again. This time, the player does not have the astonishing numbers Pepe had in Ligue one.

The Dutchman is also very versatile and can play in a number of positions across the forward line. But would he want to come to Arsenal if they fail to get Champions League qualification this season? This is the problem Arsenal would face next summer when trying to lure players to London.

Although, Mikel Arteta needs to sort out the hole in his defensive line first, the need to get forwards in the team as soon as possible is equally important as Aubameyang might leave in the summer. Losing such a player that had a hand in many of their goals would be a very big blow to the team.
