The expectations of fans were high on what Football would look like without the fans cheering the players on the pitch, especially what would happen if the players score. Yes, they had something to savour. The mode of celebration was absolutely different from what the fans have ever seen. These scenarios were truly unlike football where players jump on the back of fellow players when goals are scored or some embrace each other. This was a different and funny scenario





Starting from the game between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 where Erling Haaland opened scoring for Dortmund, it was dramatic as the players observed social distancing in their celebrations.




In RB Leipzig's 1-1 draw against Freiburg, Manuel Gulde and his Freiburg teammates celebrated by touching their elbows in celebration and they too, made fun out of it.




In all, it was a worthy weekend of football for Bundesliga fans. Even during press conference, journalists and coaches had to maintain social distance.
