"I will forever be grateful to Liverpool and I'll never forget them" - says Nigerian star

Recently released Bournemouth Football club of England star Jordon Ibe has said he will never forget English Premier League Champion Liverpool, for the help they rendered to him and his family years ago, and how they made his stay at Liverpool a must remember.






The Nigerian born star said the club helped his family and made life easier for them as they took good care of them, and he will forever be grateful to them.







The attacker said the Reds did not only give his family house, but they enrolled his siblings in schools, in order to let him concentrate on his football career.






In an interview with Game Podcast, Ibe said:

‘They provided a house for my mum and put my brother and sister into good schools, so it was good for them."

Jordon Ibe spent four years with Liverpool, and he was signed by Bournemouth from Liverpool in the Summer of 2016 for £15 million, but he was unable to justify his big money signing, as he was released last month after his contact expired.






Reacting to his failure at Bournemouth football club, Ibe said:

“There was a lot of pressure and bad light put on me and it just took all my confidence away. ‘’I was stressed out, I just wanted to go back home. There was [abuse on social media] and even in the Bournemouth area, so I just wanted to go back home."






Jordon Ibe did not enjoy enough playing time in his four years stay with Bournemouth, as he made only 92 appearances with only two coming this season, scoring just five goals in all competitions.






The former Liverpool star is now a free agent, but he'll sign for a new club as soon as possible. Ibe once said he won't be ready to represent Nigeria super eagles, but few years ago, he changed his mind by saying if another opportunity to represent his fatherland comes he will grab it once.
