"You are the Best coach ever" Fans praise Mikel Arteta for his statement after losing to Tottenham

Arsenal football club of England were defeated by improved Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening by 2-1, thanks to the late goal by Belgium Toby Alderweireld.





The away team opened the scoring early in the game (16th minutes) through Alexandre Lacazette, after receiving an assist from Granit Xhaka who capitalized from Serge Aurier's error.







The home team equalized immediately through Heung-Min Son (in the 19th minutes), after Sead Kolasinaic and David Luiz made mistakes.

Belgium star Toby Alderweireld scored the winner in the 81st minutes, after a good pass from Heung-Min Son.






Reacting to the loss in his post-match conference, Mikel Arteta apologized to the fans, and he said he's very sorry. The Gunners head coach said his team tried all the best they could to win but they were not fortunate enough to win.

"I'm sorry for the fans because I know how much it means to all of them. We were very willing to give them a big moment of happiness and unfortunately, I am sorry but we could not do it."
