American Actor, Samuel L Jackson traces his Ancestry to an African country, he receives Citizenship

Samuel L Jackson, an American Veteran Actor, who is ranked as the all-time Box office movie star with an approximate bet grossing totaling about 7 billion dollars.




We all have watched a Movie or two of the Mind-blowing actor and movie producer, Samuel L Jackson, and we may have been wondering which African country his ancestry is from. Some people believe you may never find peace even in death if you do not know where you come from, also some cultures believe that the Spirits of some individuals will keep roaming the earth until the discover their Origin and are buried on their home town.






The African American Actor also wonders the same as he found his ancestry through Finding your roots, an American-Doco series that uses generic and geological histories to find the ancestry of individuals.

He found his root to be linked to the Bantu tribe, in the African country, Gabon. The Bantus, just like NIGERIANS have hundreds of different ethnic groups and still practice some "old" traditional rites.



The actor after discovering his root traveled to the country and met with the president and his wife on an official visit. After the meeting, he was awarded full citizenship with a Gabonese Passport. A full official government interview was granted to the press at a welcoming opening ceremony where the actor talked about how he has always felt his connection to Africa and now he can boldly tell his kids exactly where they came from. He thanked the President for the warm welcome and hope that the gesture is extended to his family.










The actor also claimed that the Journey of his life has become so clear after meeting with the Monarch, the King of Bengal who told him about the history of his people and also the struggle of the slave trade and how it has affected them.




He stayed in the country a little while for leisure and for a self Discovery journey as he claimed. But his stay wasn't all about him as wherever he went, he was celebrated. A dance parade on the streets of the country was also done on his behalf, it was indeed a beautiful sight to see and dancers in black gave him a tip of the iceberg when it comes to their traditional style of dancing.






In an Instagram post, celebrating his Journey, he said, “When you meet The King of The Benga, your ancestral tribe and he turns out to be your best friend Skeeter!!! When you’re on a journey of discovery and a life choice becomes clear!”
