Massive Arrests As Army Uncover Strange Method Used By Criminals To Smuggle Weapons Into Nigeria

 Nigerian army troops of Operation Sahel Sanity as they uncovered strange method use by notorious bandits and kidnapper to smuggle dangerous weapons into the country.

The troops of Operation Sahel Sanity made this massive arrest in the axis of Zamfara and Katsina states. The criminals arrested include bandits, cattle rustlers and kidnappers terrorising the areas of Zamfara and Katsina states. The army also uncover how criminals improvise to smuggle guns and other assault rifles into the country.

This is a welcome development by our gallant security officers in Nigeria. I pray the same energy is sustained by the gallant officers of the operation Sahel Sanity launched by Nigerian army. It is very irritating to notice that among the criminals arrested by the troops include an elderly woman with her hijab.

The people of North western states especially of Katsina and Zamfara are battling with incessant attacks by bandits and kidnappers. They usually come in numbers to attack vulnerable villages and seize their livestocks. The Nigerian president Muhammad Buhari has called on the security forces to double their efforts to tackle insecurity in the region. Of course their is development with regard to security. I pray for that to continue.
