Daughter Of SARS Officer Defends Her Father, Nigerians Reacts On Twitter

A lot of things are currently going on in the country, but on top of this is Nigerians reaction to recent alleged killings officers of Special Anti Robbery Squad.

In Lagos and many other South West countries, SARS officers conduct a stop and search exercise on many check points. People believe that the youth are being targeted and harassed.



#EndSars has been trending on and off for some months now and it's back in twitter again.

In the wake of this, a daughter of a SARS officer said that we can't just wake up one day and end SARS. "Not all SARS are the same, that it's the few bad ones that makes the entire system look corrupt".


She now advised that people should dress well, and have nothing implicating on them. "You should not be scared of SARS and as men, we need to do better" she said.

We can't be protecting scammers who are ruining our reputation abroad. She was concerned that if we end SARS now many people will become jobless and we don't know what will happen to our society.

A reform will be the best way, so hash tag #reformsars should be the one trending online and not #endsars.

That is what a daughter of a SARS officer said about the current brouhaha surrounding the #endsars that it trending.
