Beware if you use blue light in your room, see the warnings that a doctor posted on twitter

Nowadays many people especially students like to sleep with a blue light just because they believe that it is special or also because it decorates a room

A Nigerian doctor and social media influencer identified as Aproko doctor on twitter took to his official twitter account to share a warning to people who sleep with blue light and ge advised them to change it.





Aproko Doctor claimed that using blue light might be fashionable but unfortunately, it affects the human body because it prevents the body from getting enough quality sleep in the night.

Aproko Doctor revealed that blue light prevents the body from getting enough quality sleep because it blocks a hormone (identified as melatonin) that makes you sleepy.


Aproko Doctor also advised people that they should change the blue lights in their room to a colour like red, orange and any other warmer colour.

In his words, Aproko Doctor said "This is for all of you putting blue lights in your room at night, Blue light interferes with your sleep by Blocking a hormone that makes you feel sleepy reducing the quality of sleep, use warmer lights in your room at night. red, orange etc RT for awareness".
