The Only Premier League Defender That Has Not Receive Any Yellow Card This season (32 Appearances)

It is surprising to know that a defender at this stage of the season, in such a physical League like the Premier League, can still be found without a single yellow card.

Another suprising thing is that, the player that hasn't received any yellow card this season is from the Frank Lampard's team, that has a poor defensive record this season.

Although the Frank Lampard's pattern of play has seen his defenders press the opposition up high the pitch and tries to keep the offside trap always, but it's still suprising to have a defender who is yet to be booked once this season.

Azpilicueta is regarded by pundits as one of best full-backs/wing-backs in the Premier League. Although naturally right-footed, he is an versatile player who excelled both at offensive and defensive play, which made him tactically versatile, allowing him to be deployed on the left as well as on the right side of the pitch, as a full-back or wing-back in a 4 or 5-man defence.

His main attributes is his pace, marking ability, tackling, strength, intelligence, tenacity, and stamina. He is a dynamic, tenacious, athletic, and hard-working player, he is also gifted with good technique and ball skills, as well as an excellent crossing ability and a powerful shot from outside the area.
