The most embarrassing moments at the 2020 Grammy award show.

So, the first ever Grammys of the decade held last night and as per usual our favourite music artists got aome well deserved recognition for all the hits they released during the course of the year. We also got to treat our eyes to the dapper outfits our stars brought to the red carpet and possible drama here and there. They say “where one or two celebrities are gathered is the presence of gist” Well, technically nobody said. I said. Whatever.

I’ve just compiled the most embarrassing gist-worthy moments of the Grammys 2020. You’re welcome!



#1 Guiliana Rancic with the memory loss






Red carpets are a big deal at these events. Attendees make it a point to rock fancy designer names so they can come and brag all about it on the red carpet. So, imagine my shock when red carpet host, Guiliana Rancic forgot the name of the designer she was wearing. (Oops! You had one job Guiliana.) Well, we all have these moments (I guess).




#2 Ariana Grande and Lana Del Ray go home with nothing






Fans of both ladies are currently so pissed right now. Apparently they had hoped that Lana Del Ray stood a chance at winning Album of the year and that '7 Rings' by Ariana Grande would win something as well. Unfortunately, both women went home empty but 17-year old Billie Eilish got a whopping 5 Grammys. (Sorry fans)



#3 Nick Jonas does a whole performance with food in his teeth.






To be honest, I blame his team. Why didn’t they come correct for their guy by making sure he was looking sharp to the T (Get the joke?). Anyways, I guess we all have these moments and it could have been worse.



#4 Camila Cabello trips on stage






This has to be one of the worst fears of every performing artist – tripping on stage! Well, I think she handled it like a champ. Some people didn’t even notice that happened.



#5 Taylor Swift, a no-show as usual






Despite her 3 nominations and rumours that she was slated to perform at the event, Taylor Swift was a no-show. The star seemed excited about the nomination on her Instagram story but still did not show up to the event. She hasn’t attended since 2016. Awkward.



#6 Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s on-stage awkwardness






Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been dating since 2015 and the duo have even written and produced songs together. So why did they have an awkward chemistry on stage? Or was it just me? There was a lot of handholding and strained eye gazing that it started to look creepy. Is there something going on or is it because they had to perform immediately after a tribute to late NBA star Kobe Bryant? Oh well, I guess we’ll never know.



#7 Lil Nas X – the popping pink cowboy






Please, what is this guy wearing? Who comes to the Grammys looking like a meme? Your confidence has to be on some high for you to ever leave your house looking like this. The bravery!
